Mindfulness Educators® was founded in 2018 and today it is the No. 1 training institution in Europe with tens of thousands of certified students in 24 countries and with the highest level of satisfaction guaranteed.

Certified training for those who wish to achieve their potential and excel in an ethical way in the world.

National and international certifications and approvals

Whether you are a professional who wants to train for your job, or simply someone who wants to improve their own well-being or that of others, practising awareness is a powerful tool, scientifically recognised, applied also in the clinical field, which can be integrated into your working day or daily life, in a simple and immediate way.

Through educational and evidence-based work, this mindfulness training provides you with the skills, tools and exercises for a thorough knowledge of habitual thinking patterns, emotions and behaviours which prevent many people from reaching their full human potential and mental and physical well-being.

Becoming a mindfulness facilitator

How does the Mindfulness Facilitator work?

The mindfulness facilitator teaches both group and individual classes. In fact, in addition to leading mindfulness groups, he/she is able to formulate and customize individual mindfulness pathways in different intervention contexts, according to the specific needs of his/her users/clients or students and help them through a personalized practice plan. Thanks to Mindfulness Educators’ extensive training program, you get a 360-degree view of the discipline that allows you to go beyond standardized programs and customize interventions.

This allows you to integrate mindfulness into your own profession (psychologists, psychiatrists, coaches, holistic doctors, educators, teachers, therapists, etc.), formulate specific itineraries and apply it to your specific intervention environment.

Is there a difference between mindfulness facilitator and mindfulness instructor?

No, but when referring to mindfulness it is more correct to speak of Facilitator, because teaching in this field is never directive but is a co-creative activity, where the leader represents a neutral leader who is first and foremost himself a practitioner who lives the meditative experience together with the participants, in the present moment and as it changes.

In mindfulness, in fact, the learning and teaching process is experiential and not conceptual. The role of a mindfulness teacher, as a facilitator, is to help people to help themselves, to facilitate the initiation of change without ever forcing or anticipating it.

The use of the term instructor, often hastily translated in our country, is neither appropriate nor coherent when applied to mindfulness, as it immediately refers to sports and/or management contexts in which it is predominantly used and where the modality of doing and the search for results are absolutely predominant, in clear contradiction with the fundamental principles of mindfulness. When talking about guiding others towards mindfulness practice, in fact, one enters a territory that does not resemble any of the classical teaching contexts. As one progresses through the course, this aspect is easily and immediately understood.

Therefore, when one wants to refer to teaching and leading mindfulness groups or meetings, it is preferable, and conceptually more correct, to use the term Facilitator, because it perfectly embodies the spirit of this discipline and its teaching philosophy.

Is yours a complete training?

Yes, it is currently the most comprehensive course available online, as it comprehensively addresses all aspects of mindfulness and all areas of its practical application. In fact, it is not limited exclusively to the MBSR program, but allows the student to acquire upstream all the theoretical and practical skills that will allow him to customize his own practice or that of his users according to their specific needs, to formulate specific intervention programs and to build a mindful existence beyond the time limit of the course or program.

The original Mindfulness Educators program has been formulated over a time span of 14 modules that correspond to a time span of 14 weeks.

Does your program include MBSR?

Yes, the 8 weeks of intensive practice (from module 5 to module 12) that are experienced during the course follow the MBSR program according to Kabat Zinn’s own indications when the course is approached independently and not face-to-face. This is because let us remember that the MBSR program was originally conceived as a program to be carried out in a group and in presence.

Is mindfulness teaching open to everyone?

Yes, but it is necessary to distinguish between the psychopathological and non-psychopathological domains. The application of mindfulness in the psychopathological field is reserved exclusively for specific figures such as psychotherapists.

How to become a mindfulness facilitator?

This training will allow you to become a Mindfulness Facilitator and acquire the necessary knowledge to fully understand, practice and apply mindfulness at a personal or professional level, through educational and experiential work.

How much do you live in the present?

On average, we spend 40% of our time brooding about the past and 40% of our time worrying about the future. We only spend 20% of our time living in the present!

This means that we live almost all our existence lost in the labyrinths of our mind, making harmful thought patterns, at the expense of our real life, which carries on relentlessly, wasting our time and our potential.
